There are many opportunities for responsibility and independence in the Middle Years

Our program in the Middle Years is based on active learning, learning by doing, learning by challenging, and stretching in ways that promote growth.

The Middle School at Genius School operates from Grade VI to X. Dynamic pedagogy and curriculum, highly competent and friendly facilitators, strong academics and co-curricular activities, emphasis on life skills and values, focus on entrepreneurship and service are some of the salient features of the Middle School at Genius.

Sport and Performance Club

Genius Middle School offers a wide range of Sports and Performance club choices for all the students to choose from. Mentored by experts, these clubs allow children to explore their interest and develop passion in the field of their choice.

Girls and Boys Club

At Genius, we believe in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for all students not only to thrive academically, but also socially, and emotionally. With this purpose we run Boys and Girls Club that offers a range of opportunities for both boys and girls to discover themselves, discuss the issues that are relevant and pressing to them in an environment that is safe to discuss, share and question about.

Service Action

Community Service or Service Action is a allows students to share their privilege with the community they belong to. Under this programme, students offer their service in various forms to the people and organizations where the service is felt necessary.

Leadership Opportunities

Genius Middle School Provides various personality development and leadership opportunities to children. Student Council is one of the many. Student Council is an elected body of the students that works closely with the school management to bring positive change in the school environment. Lobbying for change, communicating pressing students agenda to the school management and creating opportunities for the students are the key roles of the Student Council comprising the School Prefect, the Vice Prefect, House Captains and the Class Representatives.

Workshop Based Learning

Under the Workshop Based Learning the Middle School students explore a variety of entrepreneurship skills. The Middle School WBL activities include the following:

  • Food and Beverage Production
  • Pottery
  • Interior Designing
  • Photography/Videography
  • Carpentry
  • Robotics

The school offers national curriculum and beyond under the framework of International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) as a candidate school.

The Middle School strives to instill within each child a balance between individual development and commitment to community. Our invigorating and supportive environment stimulates and promotes ethical, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth in every student.

For a student of this age, the most valuable skills and knowledge are not composed of isolated facts and repetitive drills, but come from the child’s ability to make meaning of the work by integrating it with prior knowledge and experience.

We welcome the pupils experiences and of all members of our community
